How long to spend in each section exam 2?

Hey guys for spesh/methods exam 2 how long normally would you spend in each section??

Do you spilt up MC and SA in half and allocate 1 hour each?? or does SA take longer??

From what I remember, methods MC is much quicker than spesh MC, which should take 45 mins - 1 hour depending on difficulty. SA should probably take longer in both cases.

For methods which one is it recommended you do first? MC or SA?

If you find it hard to keep to the time constraints then start with Extended Response. You can guess some of the MC if you run out of time.

Well if you look at the marking scheme, MC is between 1/4 and 1/3 of the marks, so you should spend approx that amount of time on it

I generally like to start with the Extended, because of my adrenalin!

I like to spend around 25-35 minutes on MC for methods (depends if I'm a roll or not haha) and rest of the time on the short answer section.

In spesh, it is probably a bit more unfortunately I'm not very strong with spesh so yeah - for some reason I am more comfortable with the short answer though :S

me too, I think I'm just more thorough with Extended Response, unlike MC where getting one of the alternatives gives me a false sense of security
