VCE Awards?

I'm pretty sure there's a few different types of awards apart from "Premier's Awards" which are given out
As far as I know - Premier's awards are the top 5 or so students from each study, right?

Also, what's the criteria for a "Top All-Round VCE Achiever's Award"?

Plus, are there any other awards?

For click-wary/click-lazy kids, (although that is a VCAA link), I'm pretty sure a top all rounders award is if you get 5 subjects with 46+ raw ss.

I think it's highest aggregate scores in the country (there is a certain number given out every year) and I think it's worth $2,000.

Someone enlighten me if it's raw or scaled aggregate?

The Australian Student Prize

As recognition of outstanding achievement in the final year of secondary education the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations awards the Australian Student Prize to students in each State and Territory.

Students who undertook VCE studies in the previous year and who have Australian citizenship or permanent resident statuses are eligible to receive the Australian Student Prize.

The objective of the prize, which consists of a certificate and a cheque for $2000, is to give national recognition to excellence and achievement in secondary education.

The order of merit for the award of the prize is based on their Australian Student Prize score. In Victoria, the Australian Student Prize score is calculated by the addition of the Study Scores obtained in the past two years for the best four studies plus ten percent of Study Scores obtained in up to a maximum of two other VCE studies. Extension studies undertaken at University and VET studies may contribute to the score.

Victorian students who are International Mathematics and Science Olympiad medal winners are included in the Victorian nominations for the Australian Student Prize. Students who enrol in the International Baccalaureate at a Victorian school and who achieve a maximum IB score of 45 and the maximum ATAR (formerly known as ENTER) are included in the Victorian nominations for the Australian Student Prize.

The Australian Students' Prize criteria are a bit vague - there was a 99.95 student in my year who didn't get one, and as people have said, people who get as "low" as 99.40 can get them.  My personal suspicion is that it's either you get a few perfect/near perfect study scores (eg. I got one, probably because of the two 50s, considering my other raw scores weren't *as* good as some other people's) or a lot of very high ones (45+, think All-Round Achievers style).

No one ever told me that I could win $2,000 for killing VCE That is actually the most motivating thing I have read all week, that would be like two extra months away next year!
