Is 18 pages too much?

So I'm averaging 18 pages all up in exam practice.

That is 6 for part A, 7 for part B and 5 for part C.

Keeping in mind that the pages are narrow and the distance between lines is big, is 18 pages all up too much?
On a side note I have average sized handwriting.

I do 3, to  3.5 - 3.75 pages. I think it is definitely too much.

A girl who got 50, only wrote between 800 - 1000.
About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle

wow 18? I always maintain three pages for each section, and somehow do four for text response. I don't know what your talking about for 18 pages but if its of good quality, everything is relevant and is able to be completed within the time frame then go for it.

Unless advised otherwise by your teacher that is.

My teacher tells us to write around 5 for each and I usually end up getting just 5 for all, sometimes less for language analysis because I run out of time

wow that is probably too much.
Just try to make it more concise for example in text response remove all the sentences that borders on story telling and in language analysis be careful that you are not summarizing/translating.
I usually write 3.5 each for text and language and 5 for context.

My teacher made tons of photocopies from year's papers and I just kept getting them off her. I don't think that the papers are available online.

Here's the script book, it's for ESL but I'm pretty sure they're the same, happy writing!
