friday's exam easy?

does anyone actually believe that because unit 3 was deemed hard unit 4 will be easy....?

I don't think so. The Unit 3 exam was of similar difficulty to 2010's (similar A+ cutoff) so wouldn't affect it much at all. I wouldn't think that the exam writers would try to write an easier exam just because of the unit 3 one anyway, mainly because everyone who sat the unit 3 exam would also sit the unit 4 exam, so everyone is faced with the same level of difficulty so there is no need to balance it out. Then again, I'm not an examiner and have hardly any idea how they go through the process, so my guess is as good as anyone's.

I would rather a harder exam anyway.

there is a general pattern however it is not always followed, like the mid year chem exam. everyone expected a hard exam cus last year was easy, but it turned out to be easy. always expect a hard one, so you dont feel crap!

hope it is easy.... if only it is like 2006 now that was great! Hopefully not as hard as vcaa 08 though. Let's just hope for the best and keep studying

I didn't find unit three exam to be all that challenging...

I don't think it will affect it much. I'm hoping for a harder exam (as I know my content well) which will mean it's easier to get an A+

i want a fair but kind of hard as well, because of the bell curve, because i did thought i went horrible on the mid year but turned out it was not too bad because of the wide marking range
we'll see friday i suppose!
