So you've got an exam tomorrow... What to do now?

Hey 2011 cohort!

To begin with - good luck!  The fact that you're on this site at all means that you've probably worked to some extent this year - hopefully you've worked hard, but even if you haven't, it's tough getting through all the assessments which VCE throws at you.  Be proud of where you're at!

Anyway, in case it wasn't obvious already, now is really not a good time to be doing more writing.  If you're still facing major timing issues, it's probably better to work out ways in which you can cut down your pieces or redistribute your time, or better yet, remember that the exam adrenaline will help you write significantly faster.  Take a chill pill!  You want to be at maximum energy levels tomorrow, and now is a supremely bad time to randomly burn out

Get a hearty dinner in you tonight, and plan out a healthy breakfast tomorrow morning!  Revise your notes right now if you want.  Do some reading.  Just make sure that you're relaxed, and make sure that you don't stress out.  If you need some relaxation techniques, look around the internet.

Just remember, it'll be all right!  Most people exceed their own expectations on the exam!  That said, prepare yourself for the challenge as well - a year onwards, and the VCE English Exam is still probably one of my worst experiences, ever.

But seriously, it'll be all right.  You'll come out of the exam feeling on top of the world - it's the best feeling ever, so look forward to it!

Make sure you party hard afterwards...when you get a chance!

Much love, and best wishes,

~EvangelionZeta

Don't get drunk beforehand.

Also, make sure you always have the prompts in mind.  ALWAYS.

Got a 20/20, 16/20, and 15/20, for A, B and C respectively.  No idea what happened with the language analysis, but I think my context might have been a bit too simplistic.

Really? That's good news, I'd been told for a 45 you need 56/60 minimum and strong sacs. This is very pleasing to hear

Remember he finished rank 1 internally, low A+ sacs and you'd need something like that.
