Pretty accurate. Put in my sisters scores for her SS's and the score was pretty much the same

Really, it's as accurate as the data that you put in. If you put in what you are capable of then its good, if not then it's pointless.

Really, it's as accurate as the data that you put in. If you put in what you are capable of then its good, if not then it's pointless.
I think they meant more like is the calculated scaling data accurate et cetera, rather than is the information output by the calculator accurate to what they might achieve.

Remember that it always varies each year. Strong year 12 cohort = higher aggregate required for each score, so it's kind of unpredictable. While it may give you a ballpark score, don't swear by it and be disappointed

Wouldn't quite say a strong cohort raises the aggregates. Study scores are allocated on a ranked basis anyway. Increases in the number of all-rounders is what would change the aggregates as far as I'm aware i.e. the high study scores become 'pooled' amongst the higher performing students, rather than distributed. The variation isn't much anyway. ATARcalcs been fairly accurate for the past few years.
