VCAA 2008..Did everyone find it hard or easy?

I found vcaa 2008 was a bit tricky...like the table with increase, decrease and no effect :|
would it be pointless in 2 days to redo this exam to see if i have improved?

Also, what is the cut off for an A+ int he exam?
is it 81/90?

Also, would anyone say 2010 vcaa is hard as 2008?

Thanks!

2008 was the hardest there has ever been according to the distributions. The A+ cut off was around 75, I think. 2010 was a 76.5 cut off.
To be honest, I found it relatively easy, it just required a LOT of attention to detail. The ironic thing when I did the 2008 exam was that the 2 marks I lost on it were from the Stock Card... *facepalms*.
Sure, I'd do it again, since it was the hardest exam there could probably be :)
I've been neglecting Accounting lately :(, haven't really had much time for it.

Distributions just FYI

I got 87/90. Easiest one I've done... lost 2 marks on the easiest question as I interpreted differently and then stupidly put an accrued item in the p and l

Did 07 yesterday, was getting bored and only scraped 83

All depends I reckon.

The more exams, the better
After you do about 10, then you pretty much sit at 82+ constantly as soon as you understand everything
Only thing you screw up are the little silly mistakes made

There is no technique, just make sure you know everything and then keep on doing the exams.
They all have the same stuff in them.

- prepaid/accrued revenue
- stock write down
- nrv
- ratios
- budgeting
- disposal of a nca
- product and period costing

But there is always like NEW theory questions even after doing 10 exams? Do you at the end of each exam, like write down your theoretical mistakes and remember the answer each time?

You find that that pretty much 80% of theory questions ask the same thing [in different exams]. And once you understand how to answer these, different variations of them become easy to do, and even questions you haven't seen before become easier [still might not get it], but certainly easier to do.

I do funny enough, I have 6 pages so far of difficult theory questions I struggled with over my unit 4 exams
and every now and then I go through and read them all

I recommend doing it
