reconstruct gst clearing account?

Because gst is excluded from budgeting, does that mean they cant ask us to reconstruct the gst clearing accounting?
And also is it even worth learning this template of by heart cause i dont recall seeing it being tested in any of the unit 4 trial exams that ive done.

It wont be asked, but just in case.. Always debit payments and always credit received gst, or refunds from the ATO. Then you can work out whether it's an asset or liability
