Hey man, spesh 1 was too easy to allow proper resolution at the top end, so it really comes down to exam 2. You're prepared - you can do this. Take all the horrible memories and turn them into determination to not make any mistakes, check everything, and do awesomely. As for chem - you've already done a great midyear exam (I'm guessing seeing as you said you're close to 50), you can pull it off again!

It better not be losing only like 2-3 marks... cos thats more like you killing the exam

nah, more than that. I know everyone has a different opinion on what it is, but me personally had very high aims for myself, because I knew I could achieve it. But I've just fallen way short of what I desired. On last count, I've lost close to 10 for methods yesterday and perhaps a few more on exam 1. And lost 3, maybe for on spesh today, when it really was a easy 40 to get...

Ahk, well the loss of the 3 marks in spesh is miniscule if you push on to get a high mark in exam 2
Just aim to do your best in exam 2, exam 1 wont affect your ability to get a 50 that much, especially since spesh scales 11

Pretty much all been said, but we've DEFINITELY all been there (as you would know, after patiently listening to all my rants haha) this year, not one of us has gotten perfect scores in everything. All I can say is, you are so damn close to the end that you can't give up now!

Also, you got a 98 in the UMAT. That alone should make you feel better.

I"m probably never going to be a doctor, I"m probably going to be a garbage man for life.

I am 16, I have two kids to look after. But I am still happy. I work hard, but I don't get the best scores.

I lose 20 exams on my exam but I do 30+ practice papers.


This is hypocrisy at its finest. Respectable users getting comforted, who are most likely getting over 98 ATAR, and you have new users who do the same thing, and get lambasted against.

This is AN at its most glorious.

To sum it up, I think I'm just gonna focus on what I've already achieved (last years scores, UMAT, chem mid year) and remember that I can indeed do it, irrespective of what has happened this week.

Just did a spesh exam then, and I can still do them, so bring on tomorrow!

 I completely bombed today  Really nervous during reading time since the examiners thought i was really shifty in exam 1 lol. Resulted in me knocking everything off my table accidentally and having the really awkward moment of the lady staring at me while she picks it all up...
And to top it off, my calc runs out of batteries an hour in ( batteries lasting from last december  ) and it took me 10 mins to realise i brought 2 spare ones from my t.v remote.
