So... How did everyone go?

I found A Passage To India quite good, but ran out of time for Gwen Harwood.. Didn't get to talk about 'Slate' with the triple skulled boy very much.

AND I managed to get on to a second script book! FUCK YEAH! I only used one page of the second book, but I felt so hardcore putting my hand up and gesturing to my script book like 'yeah, you know I wrote that much, b*#ch!' then she was like 'oh, hells yeah I know it!'

What were the other texts like? Any doozies?

I dont do lit, but my friend does and the fire alarm went off in the middle of the exam just then LOL
They just had to sit there for 20 minutes doing the exam but with a fire alarm ringing in their ear. My friend was pissed.

LOL AT ABOVE

Our exam went well, the invigilator PISSED ME OFF THOUGH

Decent passages for Frankenstein, and one obscure passage for Stasiland, so I did well.

oooh that sucks! We have some construction works going on opposite our school hall and my god those builders can be freakin noisy! In my eco exam they made so much noise, and they appeared to have some sort of horn or honking device they used to do... something with... god only knows. Or maybe a whole lot of cars just chose to beep their horns for good luck, either way, it was a very horny exam.

I wrote on Death of Napoleon and D.H. Lawrence. I think I did a pretty average job :(
But the passages for Death of Napoleon were THE BEST. Absolutely wonderful passages, everyone in my class were doing fist pumps.
D.H Lawrence passages weren't too bad... I just ran out of stuff to write on half way through my essay. :/

In Harwood's poetry I only strated finding stuff to write about halfway through my essay. I spent the first half an hour talking about life and death, then was like 'okay Chris, read the passages again and see if you can find something more interesting to talk about' so I did and ended up wanting to talk about so much that I ran out of time.

I kinda ran out of decent stuff to say with Blake. Thankfully though I managed to spin something for another 2 pages.

I did keats and hamlet. been hoping for about a week now that on the sea would be on, which it was weoooweoeo but I half-assed the last poem. Hamlet kind of turned into two mini essays unconvincingly linked together in a hasty conclusion, and I didn't even get to mention passage three even though the graveyard scene is ma faaaveee. Fingers crossed!

Passages for Hamlet were good, passages for Keats were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! :D

One thing though - how do people finish the script books? SO MANY PAGES!? (Freaks out)

Well I managed it because I was pretty much just doing stream of consciousness writing which I attempted to pass off as an essay by leaving a blank line every now and again. It meant that my first essay got just over the half way mark (I reached the staples).. then, I started my second essay on the next page, so I actually left about 3/4 of a page blank in the first script book between the end of my first essay and the start of my next essay, and considering I only used 3/4-1 page of the next book I only really used one scriptbook worth of paper..

Also, on the topic of script books, I had no clue what i was supposed to write in the 'question number' boxes... I spent about 1/4 of my reading time figuring out what I was supposed to write there.

This D: Got so confused!

Were we supposed to write that number which goes with the text? For Mansfield it was 3-3 I think.. that thing?

Out of curiosity, what did you focus on in the APTI passages?

I didn't find the script books to be all that big. There was only 8 pages.
Wrote 6 pages on Harwood, so I definitely needed another script book for my 2nd essay!
And what was with the front cover? Really didn't know what I was supposed to put down hahaha
