Considering that many people could not finish, I am interested to see what people think the A+ cut off will be!

how early did you finish saint?
I had like 15 mins left, but that was the same with all the trials i did on the previous day. ended up 'fixing' things only to find out after the exam they were right the first time =.=.

im hoping the cut-off is 75 because of all the intricacies in the paper.
doubt it'd hit 80's, isn't it usually 75-76 with accounting?
VCAA examiners love to apply the consistency principle :P
but then again, not so much reliability..or understandability

I'd consider myself to be a pretty good Accounting student, but I finished with only 2 minutes to spare...

I finished with 1 second to spare and I was finishing the trials and the unit 3 exam in an hour :)

I finished with a minute to go, but I wrote essays for every single question, always going a line or two over the given space to ensure I hit every single possible keyword. And I write tiny. I lost a mark on my Liquidity/Profitability SAC because of too small handwriting to give you an example of how small I write.

Did you guys really feel that pressed for time?
Was it the theory or practical that took long for you guys?
I finished with 15 mins to spare :\

I had to skip two questions because i ran out of time, luckily they were only a mark each. But i think it was due to the increase in number of theory questions that made people struggle to complete it in time.
Kamboz, u must be a gun at acounting to finish that exam with 15 mins to spare. I did 33 prac exams before this one, and was able to complete all of them in time. But unfortunately not his one :(

Like another guy I said I wrote essays for theory and made sure I didn't screw up the practical by re-reading everythinggggg.

Ah, maybe that's why.
I made sure I really knew my theory, so that's probably why I was able to knock them down quickly.
LOL, I'm not that gun, I just made sure I knew my theory because my teacher emphasised it.

its too hard to tell really, i think it will be around the same as last years or maybe 1 less

even tho there are lots complaining here and at school maybe, theres still alot of other people who did accounting, impossible to know how they did and so on.  just the general feel of it, i think 75~, wasnt overly hard to make it so little, but wasnt so easy that itll be higher.

just wait ^___^ my prediction anywhere from 73~75 :]

unless you did the 33 in the same environment as ur actual exam and under the same pressure, then you shouldn't feel bad. i guess some people just have good exam technique ^_^
