apparently they make the questions similar to that^^^^

Was it true?

Well some of this stuff seemed quite similar to the exam. eg. they wanted you to describe a method used to influence chance in the law and evaluate its effectiveness. on the Exam you were asked to do this for the Media, and on the sameple exam you were asked to do this  for petitions.

Also, the Role of the VLRC was in there + and the division of law-making powers. It's not like they would put almost identical questions into a sample Exam.
Law is a kind of justice. It is not perfect justice, it is only a kind of justice.

Look at this thread for the exam questions from this year's exam. Some questions were alike, but like selim31 said, VCAA wouldn't put the same questions on the actual exam. My advice to you - if you're going to continue with this subject in Year 12, is to expose yourself to as many questions as possible. So by the time the exam comes around, none of the questions which come up will surprise you as such.
