Okay, say you get like 22 out of 30 in the exam...how would they turn it into a score out of 50? And what would it be?

Okay, so you know how each piece in the exam is out of 10? Well say you get 22 (for example), how do they then take that and make it a study score out of 50? And also, how do they add SAC marks on?

Well, i think it scaled in different scores for SAC as some school have different level of exams and hence should be scale equally & fairly by the VCAA. For the English Unit 4 exam, your predicted score should be in the thrity+ as you din't provide me the grade of your SAC. Erm..50 is not a score(I personally don't think it's a score, correct me if i'm wrong). It's a ranking of the Victorian students who are doing the exams. So if you get placed in the top 8% in Victoria, you score will be more likely to be 40 above. I think you get scaled down a little after your raw score if you're somewhere 35.

Is your SAC's grade in As? That's quite a good score tho... My prediction was around 35 to 36. and as I just said, it depends on how well the students perform in ur subject.

Thanks lol. When we get our SACs back we don't really get a grade as in A or whatever, just a score out of 30 or whatever, and my average never stayed the same haha. I started the year shit but the 2nd time I did a text response or context SAC I got wayyyyy better marks than the first time lol, but I was always shit at language analysis :P

well, same here as I don't like to do stuff like persuasive essay but I feel better doing text response. And no worries and hope you can get a score that's higher than what I predicted as over 60,000 doing english, so would be hard to go over 40, but once again it depends how well they perform, if ur lucky that this year most of the people get almost same score as yours, then you will be place in the 40s.Cheers,mate :D
