Wow, week 5 already. I can't believe it. You young jaffys sure grow up fast already. It's already been more than a month!

Here's where the tsunami will hit you. I told you all at the start that the work comes in waves. Welcome to the wave :p. You will also probably experience your first mid-semester break locked in your room madly cramming to catch up (i've only been to a single lecture for my physiology unit, i know i will).

Don't think i didn't forget about organising an AN meetup either, i've just been really busy :3. I'm sure ill still work something out if people are still keen. 1-2PM Thursday looks good by a lot of peoples timetables.

Also reminder: TUESDAY IS THE LAST DAY TO DROP UNITS (WITHOUT PAYING FOR THEM OR HAVING THEM APPEAR AS WITHDRAWN ON YOUR RECORD).

Click the grade button on moodle. It should be in the left hand column.

Lying would be a very bad idea. Uni is very discretional, its one of those open secrets. It really shouldn't be but so much is up to the slack your marker or coordinator is willing to cut you. Some just won't care about it being over. Others will penalise you. It really depends. In future though, just try cut out things. If you can't say it in the allocated words (plus 10%) you probably aren't being refined and on the point enough.

I am new here
anyway im from like a non-metropolitan area and this year is my first year @ monash clayton. i just got into a relationship - met them from uni (literally first week) and i dont know what to do on campus? Like it would be awkward as to just go chill at campus centre.... anything interesting to do on campus?

Anyway as mentioned before, there's a couple of decent cafes around campus but for anything else you'll probably need a car. Also, if you're into sports, there's plenty of facilities available for use.

That said, you could always bond over books in the library. Right?

Well damn, i'm getting conflicting opinions here then. For those who can't make it, when can you? Otherwise we could just do it multiple times maybe. At this stage given the balance of yes and no's im not 100% sure we'll do it thursday just yet. If we cant get everyone on an even better day though it might be a good opportunity.

Again, reminder, tomorrow is the last day to drop units (but you cant replace them, easily remedied though).

Hows everyone finding their classes in terms of interest and organisation? All my classes this sem are pretty mind-blowing with the knowledge they're laying down on me. My essay is due in like 3 weeks but i borrowed all the books i need now, sneaky AF.

I can do 1-2 every Thursday except this week haha. Otherwise 2-3 Monday to Wednesday I think
