lol wtf i transferred into a unit like two weeks ago and haven't been to a tutorial yet (well only missed one cause I was preoccupied) and was just reading on moodle one of the news articles he was saying well done on handing in the assignments. It is worth 15% and was due on monday fml. Will do it tomorrow cause the deadline for more percent lost is at 5:00 i think.

''Please note that the penalty for late submission is five points per day and that no piece of assessment can be accepted more than 10 calendar days after the due date.'' I don't know what that means but I don't really care at the moment.

But do it right now, good lord, you should be having a panic attack atm. Especially if you've just started the unit, you may not have the background to provide sufficient insight. Have you read the relevant chapter yet? gogogogogogogogogooooo

Yeh 15%   I just read that you can miss a maximum of 3 tutorials for this unit and I would have missed like 6 (well one, maybe two if memory serves me correctly). One other unit I'm in the same conundrum and my other two tutorials one I've been to all and the other I have somehow missed three.edit dont judge me

Hard to say. For arts subjects, my experience has generally been that it's super easy to get in the 60-79 window, and that you have to do really horrible to get less than 60 or really well to get more than 79. That's why people say Arts is a lark of a degree, because it's easy to do okay in. But it can be hard to do well in.

That, of course, depends in no small part on what the subject is, who your tutor is and how much the assignment is worth. I've found that assignments worth not too much (1-15%) are easy to get HDs on. I've had tutors who I got along with really well who were super lenient, and tutors who were real hard asses when it comes to marking. And of course, if you have natural talent when it comes to writing and critical thinking, you won't have to work as hard to knock out HD after HD.

Uh, so what I'm saying is: it depends. I can't really say how easy it is for you to get a HD.
