I just finished perfectly planning out my timetable for next semester using MUTTS. Apparently Allocate+ will just randomly allocate us to prevent clashes...

Anyone have any insight into this?

I think it's shit that you had to use MUTTS. :'( Use http://will.io/timetables/ for a much easier time~

^This was my lifesaver this semester :') Ended up getting a better timetable than what I had planned on having so it's not the end of the world if will.io/timetables doesn't yield options in your interests!

Is anybody familiar with the Accounting and Finance Leadership Program or is currently in it or knows anybody who is in the program? What sort of academic requirement is expected of applicants (what sort of WAM/GPA should I be aiming for to be a part of this program disregarding co-curriculars)?

What do you mean, exactly? Commas as part of referencing, or in general text? Do you have an example?
Part of the general text, got all marks for the referencing. The assessor didn't point out any examples , only said that there 'should not be spaces before commas, semi colons and full stops' and took a mark off..... :'(

The assessor is right, harsh to take marks off.

Here's an example, from your above post, where you put a space before a comma and when you also don't put a space before a comma. There should be no spaces before a comma, maybe it's something you're doing while touch-typing? Regardless, a cheeky spell-check on Word should pick that stuff up.

Does anyone know roughly when Moodle updates with our semester 2 units?

I remember it's about a week before the new semester starts, can anyone else confirm?

It really varies depending on who runs the unit unfortunately :/ Most are up the weekend before semester starts? (the fact that it's "most" and not "all" is probably not a helpful answer to your question haha)

My spell check does not pick it up, odd. Lolz, but it is too harsh like, i could've full marked this assignment... :'( Oh well.
Anyways, thanks for the response :)

In that case, before you submit, run a search in word for (without the quotation marks) " ," and " ." (ie. a space and then a punctuation mark) and you'll pick them all up for you to fix up :)

I agree it is a bit harsh, but I guess at a university level using punctuation correctly shouldn't be too much of an expectation. Hopefully it works out for you next time :)

Can someone tell me where about Blue Diamond Room is at Caulfield Racecourse?
It doesn't give a level either, that is if it's even on a specific level.

Thanks

If you ask the exam information people on the day, they'll be able to actually point it out to you, but I'll try to describe it anyway.

Right down the end of the ground level seating, near where the """quiet""" study area is with the seating, there's some steps. If you follow the steps to the wall, there's a door with a sign over it that I'm pretty sure says "Blue Diamond Room" or something, and you take a staircase up to the room. It's pretty well hidden, I wouldn't have found it last year if I didn't recognise some people from my unit standing near it.

I'm finished. Done. Ogre. Three law exams in two days. I nearly started crying during reading time for the third one and I swear my life flashed before my eyes 'cos I'd written like 5 words in 20 minutes and had no idea how to do the first question  :'(

Overall though it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I might have even scraped a distinction for one of them.

Will definitely do next time, thank you!  :)

Random question tho, in exams do they always let us put our bags under our desks? I've had one exam and it was like that, so I just want to make sure if all are like that so I can take my laptop next time for last min revision.

This has been the case in every exam I've had, yep.

Eng stud here.  So had an exam today and I think I messed that up as well  :( that means I would probably be end up having 4 fails out of 9 units I attempted so far :( didn't fail anything twice. I know, its pretty bad. but this time around I had some dramas going on in my life which I had to handle alone by myself but I couldn't :(  how badly are those fails going to affect me in future?

edit : I have been really struggling with some of those personal issues over past couple of weeks which makes me nearly impossible to concentrate on study. is there anything I could do in this situtation?  could someone pls help me on this?
