Just a reminder to everyone that re-enrolment is open for next year :)

The fact that I am almost 1/4 of the way to being a physio absolutely terrifies me.

Hahaha they started calling everyone in our lecture yesterday...I felt my phone vibrate, then my friends sitting next to me got calls, then we heard someone else's phone go off, and it just spread around the room lol.

Lol! That happened last week in one od my lectures as well! :)

Also I finally got 2 of my 30% marks back (been waiting for one since week 4), really happy with them, as both were group presentations, which I suck so much at

only had one major group presentation this semester was definitely the best assesment in terms of low time of work put into it and required with weighting (15% of overall grade).

Congrats!

How would you describe it overall? Did it meet expectations?

Officially survived first year*. Not a bad effort.

Hoping my results at the end of the year are good enough to get an invitation for the research mentorship program, because it'll mean I get to do my own systematic review next year with guidance from a mentor (rather than having to do it in a group with people), and I believe the program also gives you the chance to have two published pieces of work by the end of my degree.

*pending exams

Pending my 3 exams, I've survived first year- which I'm currently celebrating with a fair few of my cohort. :)

This semester's been hell, so I'm glad it is basically over! ;D

What do you guys find is the best way to study over swotvac for you? Making summaries, rewatching lectures, mind maps, etc.?

Just looking for some ideas :)

I never re-watched a single lecture, but I did take pretty comprehensive notes at the time. My go-to method was making summaries of my summaries, and then summaries of those summaries, and so on.

And then I'd get people to test me on those summaries, or try to test myself. Would naturally differ from faculty to faculty and person to person, though.
