Year 12 next year. How to utilise Summer ?

What do you guys recommend I do over the Summer ? and how did you utilise the Summer holidays before yr 12 ?

Read through all your texts...! All your subjects require tons of reading so the sooner you get started the better!
I'd suggest watch tons of television in the language - radio, songs and movies help too. Anything to immerse yourself in the language.
And perhaps go to some of the summer lectures held by TSSM and TSFX! (most helpful for english)

My only piece of advice is to not over-study in the holidays. Try to find a balance between studying and having a social life.

Do lots of reading. Don't do any actual study/work, you'll have plenty of time for that during the year.

If you do 1-2 hours of work everyday of the holidays, you should be fine. Don't try to squeeze in a few 8 hour study days because you will only tire yourself out before year 12 even starts. It's better to do a little bit of study everyday than to do heaps one week and nothing the next week.

This too. Reading takes a while but it's quite unstressful. The holidays are a perfect chance to do this.

I've actually signed up for the University of Melbourne Summer school

Enjoy your holiday and appreciate it or else you won't srsly get much time to
relax after that..+ read all your novel+text for english beforehand so you know
what is going on during class and if the teacher asks you to go through again
and defs get a lot more understanding about the text/novel..
If you are doing maths subject, go do some question and not reading it
coz maths is not about reading, it's about practising.
Ohh, the Melbourne union summer school thingyy?when does it start?

Better be quick and sign up, because I think the enrollment dates are coming to a close.

That has to be the most useless language to learn because of how encumbered the Arabic world is by Islam. There are next-to-no Arabic books... learning to read the Quran class

Well there are a lot of countries who speak it, if he ever travels to parts of Africa/Middle East it'll definitely be useful . Knowing any language is useful, except for like Latin/Ancient Greek lol.
