You could do latin over summer. Get some uni perspective on the workload of VCE.

or Syriac, which is a bit like arabic (tripartite roots, script etc)

if you have a linguistics bent, then these wouldn't be the worst way to spend some of summer.

Arabic would be useful in terms of diplomacy... that is, if you were going to continue it post school...
interesting language though...  :)

Haha I know the feeling... a part of me says that it's the last holidays I will ever get and that I don't want to tire myself out for year 12, but the other part says I should study like mad so that I can get ahead and get a good atar score.

Do drugs.

Drugs are for losers.

Hahahaha I'm enjoying this week to myself :p
But yes, we should start to read our English novels (2 times over at least, second time making some notes)
Cover all your subjects, and get ready for the best year of your life :P

Having just done VCE, I'm glad I didn't do that much over the summer. Year 12 is an incredibly draining year, and you don't want to work hard over the summer to find that you're burnt out around exam time.

Personally I just read my english texts, did most of my set homework (though not all :P), chilled and actually enjoyed my summer. If you have trouble with some areas then maybe look over them - but otherwise I'd just make sure you are organised for the year ahead. Might just be me, but I don't think there is much benefit learning the course over the summer - it will just drain you before the year starts.

Also,

have you forgotten what awaits after VCE

Seriously, just keep this in mind during the year. You have no idea how amazing life is after exams are over!
