Yeah I dont think they will tell anyone. I think its more for them to know sort of thing.

But I actually cant remember where I got the idea that teachers get our scores before us. I think it could have been a teacher themself that told me, or I could have read it on the vcaa website but I tried looking for it and I couldnt find it, so I dont know.
But I have a feeling it was my VCE Co-ordinator :/

Aww man, I saw my classics teacher a few days ago and she gave me a sympathetic smile. Now I'm slightly paranoid!   :'(
I doubt they would have recieved our scores *this* early though, would they?

What, really?

I talked to my my ex-Revs teacher a few days after my exams and she asked me to let her know how I go, because apparently the teachers don't get told unless you've gotten a 50 or a 99.95 or something?

Nah you sign a document which allows the school to access your results. I don't know if they can access them before the 16th though...

From what I remember, the school finds out a day or two beforehand.

I found a doc that says that schools get results before, but its really vague in saying when. This isnt where I got my info, and I'm pretty sure they get the results <1 week before we do, unlike what this says:

About page 151, but again, its very vague, and its not where I got the notion from.

Obviously that doesnt mean they get our results as soon as our exams finish- I assume that means they recieve general data about examinations within a school. I guess they'd get our results somewhere close to the end of that period, but before us.

Judging from what I skimmed over, the schools received the results the same day last year's class did

I was curious about this too last year so when my principal called me up after results were released I asked him when he knew. Apparently he was able to access it the day before the rest of us were. Most of the teachers have a big meeting to discuss results, I think it's a sort of professional development thing. Although they're legally obligated to not reveal anything. So it's just 24 hours earlier, no biggie. Hope that clears things up :)

Yeah that makes sense. Because last year our results came out on a Monday yeah(??), and I knew teachers got results on the Friday before, so I assumed it was a couple of days before, but it makes sense that they really receive it a day before, but because last years release was on a Monday, the teachers would get it on the Friday rather than the weekend.
