We shouldn't be aiming to beat last year's median cause that's essentially pressuring those who have lower ATARs not to share them, cause it'll bring us down, that's not nice

It was 98.00 exactly.

But last year quite a few people who weren't exactly regular forumites jumped in to offer their 99+ scores at the last minute, which would have pulled the median up quite a bit.

Anyway, the data's not completely reliable, some of those 99.95ers weren't really contributing members, just came here for bragging rights.
