Yeah no doubles either, so monash probably offers more diversity. I do know that monash commerce has different compulsory subjects though, which you may or may not like. In monash you must do the basic subjects of accounting+finance, microeconomics, business law, stats (kinda like maths), management, marketing (totaling 6 subjects) in first year. I personally would find this rather annoying.
For melbourne, you have to do, in first year: intro microeconomics, intro macroeconomics, quantitative methods (which is stats) (only 3 subjects) but in second year, you need to do another stats subject, as well as organisational behaviour (which I think is like a management subject). So altogether 5, but you don't have to do marketing/accounting etc if you never intended to major in them.
Also, in terms of respect between the two med degrees, I'd say it doesn't matter because you are guaranteed an internship anyway and after that, it's all about you and your skill, not your degree.
