Just a few questions

I heard somewhere that in our preferences, if all our selected courses end in '1' OR '2', we will get one offer per round, is that true?
If it is, if I were to accept an offer given to me in round 1, would that stop me from getting an offer in round 2? And would I be able to then change my mind and reject the round 1 offer and take the one given to me in round 2?

If I get an ATAR below the cleary-in, and I haven't applied for SEAS or any of that kind of stuff, does that mean I have no chance of getting an offer in round 1 or 2 for that course?

Thanks guys
ATAR: 99.15

Basically you get two offers based on what score you met from your list of preferences.

So first round offers, you may have missed out on your first, second and third preference but been accepted for your fourth. With that you would accept your fourth preference.

But when you get your second preference you may have got your second offer, which you can then accept and call the university for your fourth offer and turn it down (even though you previously accepted it).

The second bit I'm not so sure about as I'm under both SEAS and SALT (La Trobe). But from what I understand an ATAR of say 70+ for a course requiring 70+ is clearly in, but left over space in the course is given to those that are say just under, (so all the 69.95, 69.90, ...) and SEAS.

Probably best to get someone to clear this up though mate, thats my understanding of it. :)

Ahk, thanks for clearing that up

Also, I got 99.15 for my ATAR, I read somewhere before on AN that 99.00+ is enough for the chancellor's scholars program for science and biomed, starting this year, but you won't be guaranteed a CSP if you don't get 99.90+
I can't find this on the UoM website, anyone know anything about this?

EDIT:

http://www.futurestudents.unimelb.edu.au/admissions/entry-requirements/guaranteed-entry/other-guaranteed-entry-pathways-with-ATAR

So it's not for the chancellor's scholars program? So how do I apply for this in order to attain a guaranteed entry pathway? Or do I just select a course like science or biomed and accept the offer made by UoM if they decide to give me one? Would I have to do anything other than that to assure I get a guaranteed pathway?

Chancellor's Scholars is for 99.9+

With 99+ you can get a guaranteed FFP just by enrolling in a course and then filling out a form when you graduate in 2015
