Rate my analogy

i was tutoring my friend in chem today, and came up with an analogy for electron excitation and ionization.

pasted from msn:

exciting electrons
it's like forcefeeding someone coke
they have so much energy
and they can't sit there
thye have to get rid of it
and when they get rid of it
they can either go down one shell
or they can go down several
going down one is like walking to knox
you release a bit of energy
but like
if you go down several
you burn more energy
like walking to NSW.
ionization energies
think of shells as friendship groups
friendship groups are like shells
you got the close knit besties
(inner shells)
then the friends
and the fringe ppl you know
so it's easier to remove the fringe ppl
coz you dont give a shit about them
so the ppl have to use less energy to move them from your circle
but it's a big jump from the fringe group to your actual friends
and the energies still increase within a shell
because as you remove more friends from the group
you get more needy
and hold onto your friends closer
because you got a set amount of love to give (+ve charge)

"...no! i swear! but does that make sense?"
"...well... i kinda got it even before you ranted for 10 mins about friends... but yeah i get it..."

lol! listen to ur style, already "my student this, my student that...." haha
hehehe nice to make study a bit of fun sometimes...

our chem teacher used an analogy of the three types of bonding:
ionic: one-night-stand
metallic: orgy
covalent: marriage

That makes divorces interesting.

Extremely incoherent, and inconsistent (changed from 'distance' analogy to 'friends circle' analogy).

edit

When I explained to Andy that melodrama is not a newbie (see smite on this post), he responded:

When I put the note, "Targeting a Newbie", I was referring to myself lol. :P

Counter-smiting should be highlighted and shunned.
