Melbourne vs Monash Engineering

Hi, could someone explain to me the differences between the Master of Engineering at Melbourne and at Monash. I noticed that at Monash it is 6 years and at Melbourne it is 5 years. Why is this? It seems to me that they are somewhat different, not equivalent degrees. How does the Bachelor of Engineering at Monash compare?
Whoever knows something could you reply quickly since I don't have much time to make up my choice. :-\

Thanks

Where did you get 6 years from? Bachelor of engineering is 4 years and undergrad+master of engineering is 5 years.
