the job prospects was one aspect, another was the fact that i cudnt see myself working in retail for the rest of my life. only up to 5 years max probably. anyways the pharm aspect of pharm isnt really that great... its very monotonous which isnt the best thing.. all you do is type up the prescription thats it and webster pack (which is just as boring). The only thing that changes is the customers but even then it gets close to repetition. I still recommend getting a retail job in a pharmacy in the summer coz getting a job early anyways because all your other pharmacy buddies will be looking for one when they start uni so getting a job wud be only beneficial. i rkn go have a talk with some of the pharmacists locally and ask them for advice as well during non peak hours tho.
haha any1 is allowed in the dispensary and also a monkey can do what a pharmacist does no kidding thats how easy/monotonous it is to do/learn.
anyways but, if you get a pharmacy a job at a hospital or industrial then it might be more worth it since actually have more clinical based, plus we actually use the knowledge you gain from university. but in retail you probably wudnt even use half of it.
