Alright, so here's the deal. Because of recent petrol prices, my wonderful and creative parents came up with this new idea which is the smartest thing to do in their mind. We have one petrol price discount receipt, and 2 cars. So, their idea is to line both cars one after the other, then pump petrol into both cars before paying in a single receipt, thus obtaining the discount for both cars.
Had they not need someone to hold the pump and 2 person to drive the cars, they would had done it a long time ago. So now, they're trying to convince me to hold the pump while they drive the cars...
The thing is, we're not struggling financially or anything, and I don't see the point of doing this to save like er 4 cents for one car of 40 litres which totals to $1.60 However, my parents are set on doing this and are nagging me to assist in their *grand plan*....
Is it just me or this feels a little awkward or even uncivilised? Sry if I'm being pedantic about this... If that is the case, just let me know and I'll go ahead with it...
