What you learn about logarithms in unit 1&2 is quite basic and is reiterated at the start of the logarithm related chapter in the 3&4 textbook.

The only difference I found between unit 1/2 logarithms and unit 3/4 logarithms were:
1. Transformations of exponential/logarithmic graphs
2. "Base change" rule
Please correct me if there is something else that is introduced in 3/4 methods.

If you've got a strong foundation you can get through the rehashed 1/2 exercises in less than a day or two, so it really doesn't hurt doing them, considering you have so much time right now.

What I usually do when a chapter looks easy:
Do the very last question in each exercise. If I can do that without any problems or effort, then I assume that the exercise is too easy for me and a waste of my time.

There's no point revising grade 6 fractions when you have plenty of difficult topics to learn.
