no, it's cause they left it in exact mode (standard) and never thought about using decimal mode, it was fixed with a new OS Update I think, but I really don't think it's the calculator's fault if they leave it in exact mode (standard) and never thought to try it in decimal mode once exact failed.

oh i see,
in standard mode it just comes up with crazy..   x = -e^10/80 + e^8/80. and yep :p

yeap! that was the answer in the book. my calc just turned off.... i really doubt that it was the wrong equations!
