If you don't know what lucid dreaming is;

I personally cannot as soon as I realise I'm dreaming I wake up  :(

Can you? If so can you control it?

Yup - I actually practised this ages ago with a friend, I remember following a guide, had diaries too, eventually I could control my dreams; everything felt like a reality haha, it was really cool. But I've stopped for a long time now and can't do it anymore ;(

It takes alot of practise to actually fully lucid dream XD

Been trying to have lucid dream for a while now, I only remember my dreams but when I try to control it, it just doesn't work, I either wake up or just feel like somethings stopping me from taking control

Now that I think about it I don't think I just have "dreams" in the sense that I can't do anything. I end up thinking about things and drift off but I know whats happening and are making decisions, even though I'm asleep. I rarely have a "dream" that I'm not controlling, I'm just always thinking about something or altogether asleep.

Idk maybe I'm just a weido :P

Has happened on a few occasions, though I wouldn't be able to choose to do it.

Yup - I actually practised this ages ago with a friend, I remember following a guide, had diaries too, eventually I could control my dreams; everything felt like a reality haha, it was really cool. But I've stopped for a long time now and can't do it anymore ;(

How do you practice this? I wouldn't know where to start.

I *think* I learnt it from this site http://www.ld4all.com/guide.html, basically followed the guide and did what they said, eventually it worked lol I was pretty skeptical at first, but it actually works, it's scary haha

It's rare for me to even remember having a dream let alone lucid dream...

I used to have lucid dreams all the time. I would be able to control myself but not my surroundings. Lately though, I hardly ever remember my dreams let alone realise I'm dreaming... maybe it's my horrible sleep pattern. :P

Anyone ever notice that you run really slow? And for some reason when you run backwards its like faster - or is it different for everyone?

Pretty much the only time I ever dream is when it is a lucid dream. I never think to myself "hmm... is this a dream or not?" because it is so easy to tell what's real and what's not.

YES! I can't run in my dreams... even slower than walking somehow.
