General discussion forums

OK, basically I want to split the 'General Non-VCE Discussion' forum into several sub-forums, such as 'Locker Room' (in need of a better title, for sporting-related discussion), 'Gaming/Tech Talk', etc. This will clean the forum up quite a bit making it easier to find topics that interest you.

Thoughts? What sub-forums should we create?

Yeh, coupled with the cleaning up of subject forums it should make it a lot easier to find stuff.

Oh what about make like sub-forums for each subject forum... i.e notes, exams, help/questions, discussion?

nah too many forums i think, leave the subjects how the are (except maybe if u decide to group them etc)

Sorry Odette but I dis-agree. I don't want to have too many levels of forums, it appears very messy. I was more referring to the subject grouping idea.

As discussed in the IRC, my proposal for the forum splittage:

- General / Off-topic (for all non-fitting discussion)
- Trading House (for students to buy / sell stuff; mainly books I'd assume)
- Lifestyle and Entertainment
- News and Politics (ref: existing forum)
- Employment and Careers
- Technology (whether we put computer games in here or Entertainment is up for discussion)

What about a sporting forum? I think there's only 1 sporting thread at the moment, however.
