I got 99.15, did spec and a language, and I got 168 for my UMAT (73rd percentile)
I didn't apply outside vic, but would there have been a chance for me to get an interview/admission into any unis outside vic if I had applied?'

I'm just curious btw, I didn't want to move outside of Melbourne anyway
ATAR: 99.15

BSc @ UoM

Nah probably not mate, you really want 90+ UMAT to have a hope anywhere...
2010: Business Management [47]
2011: English [44]   |   Chemistry [45]  |   Methods [44]   |   Specialist [42]   |   MUEP Chemistry [5.0]   |   ATAR: 99.60
UMAT: 69 | 56 | 82 | = [69 / 98th Percentile]
2012: MBBS I @ Monash

the ones where umat isn't so important, e.g. james cook, if you received an interview you would probably have been every chance with a 99+ atar :)
and there was one or two others, either griffith or flinders, where umat was only worth 10%.
ATAR: 99.90 (2011)

Monash gave out interviews for 87/88+ in my year (2nd round though), so I'd like to think that other unis in australia would do the same.

Yeah one of my mates got a second round interview with 88% umat......but he did have a 99.90 :)
