CSP Bonded Med at Monash

I've got a stupid CSP bonded offer   FML

Are bonded offers allowed to be defered?
Somewhere I heard that Rural Extended Schemes are not allowed to be defered but I don't know about bonded.
Can anyone enlighten me?

Let me get this straight.

You got into Medicine at Monash, probably the hardest course in Victoria to get into, and you're complaining about it and are considering deferring?

Errrr...

Cos it is bonded... and I want to practice overseas like the US. Which means I have to do residency in US and therefore will most likely not return to Australia... I am wondering if the Australian government would allow me to go overseas in the first place before paying my way out :P

Oh and I want to do stuff before I go to uni hence the possible GAP year :P
