QUESTION ON IRREGULAR OFFER!

Hi guys, I got an atar of 91.35 got the offer to study science at University of Melbourne. I decided to change my mind and do engineering at monash. Unfortunatly i changed my mind after the Change of Preference week. Is it still possible to apply for an irregular offer for engineering at monash. If so what are my chances of getting it?

If you're just applying for B.Eng, that required a Clearly-In of 90.05.  Since you got accepted into B.Sci at UoM, I'm presuming you would have also met the pre-requisites for the B.Eng.  In that case, your chances of succeeding are quite high in my opinion.

Alright. I got another quick question. If i want to apply for an irregular offer at monash Biomedical science with my atar of 91.35 is it possible for me to get in. I meet the pre reqs for biomed at monash except i got 28 in english. Monash requires 30 in english. so what are my chances if i go down this path? Thanks for your help.

Well, none, if they notice it. You're immediately "clearly-out" if you don't meet the pre-reqs.

Having said that, I know a lot of people who have got into their chosen university course without pre-requisite subjects having been done. BUt it's obviously a bit of a risk, especially if you're not happy with your current offer.

Not sure. You might have to ask the university. Obviously the people that got all the pre-reqs will get a place before you, but in my knowledge, in uni, they place a heavy emphasis on english.
