I guess I can't expect much from a school who's last year dux scored an 85 ATAR, and a median study score of 22 I think?
the school just can't really facilitate for students who want to take a more advanced course, but i couldn't afford to go to a better school
but thank you for all your comments. Im generally pretty good at teaching myself, but I think specialist may be different. Hopefully I can find a good tutor, and expect a lot of  help posts on AN! :P
I i definitely agree with you stick. While running composite classes may be more difficult, its better than the alternative
Lesson to every future student of AN: DONT GO TO WALLAN!

I didn't know this and now I am very angry with my school principal.

It's not an official rule though, but it does happen a lot.

I'm sure you'll enjoy bio though :)

Recently, I was elected as SRC President from my peers for next year! yaaay :D! But one of the associate principals was telling me that the role would be take alot of time and commitment throughout my final year, which concerned me in some regards. I have a rough idea as to what I'd like to achieve next year for study scores and ATAR, but I'm worried that the time I put into the school with meetings, organising fundraisers etc, will make my final year more stressful and pressured, which could ultimately affect my ATAR result... How do you guys think I should tackle next year? What can I do to minimise stress, whilst also committing as a leader of the school?

Manage your time extremely wisely. But first of all, STRESS LESS. It is possible to balance a leadership role with studies, you just have to plan your time and stick to it (its all well and good in theory but really hard to practise day in day out).

Yeah I'm not really that stressed about it, it just concerns me a little that's all.. I'll have to get used to the leadership position + focusing on my studies next year! Hopefully i can adjust quickly! :D

Enjoy what you do! If you like your leadership role and if you think its rewarding you'll find time for it - we all have interests and hobbies and we don't put them on hold just because of year 12! Even though time is finite, you'll be surprised how much time you can make just by being more efficient, not wasting time and generally working harder. My motto is that if something is important to you, you'll find the time to do it!

It's usually just a really small component of the exam, but it's important you have a thorough understanding of this anyway. Good luck with methods  :)

Usually, they choose well organised people to be leaders, so I think you should be fine :)
Anyway, you get a lot of support from your peers/other leaders/principal etc. so don't worry too much. Don't be afraid to delegate tasks and  ask for help.
Good luck!
