Hey everyone, I'm currently in year 11 but I'm doing year 12 psych. ^^
I found AN about a week before the midyear exam and haven't really posted but I'm hoping to get more involved, especially next year.
I just found this picture on google so I thought it'd be a good time to introduce myself hahaha.

Happy birthday Stick :) All that's left for you now is to do trial exams and maybe that elusive Premier's award could be yours.

o: Haven't posted here in a little while (I also forgot to make some sort of inspirational post at the end of Term 3. Better late than never.)

Anyway, we are all at the final stretch of this year, in terms of our Units 3&4 studies. I'm sure most of you are going nuts with the trials at the moment, but it is also a time where burn-out can get the better of you and this would be the worst time to throw in the towel. Just focus on that amazing result I'm sure you will all achieve at the end of the year. Don't let all that hard work throughout the year go to waste, guys.

This is the only AN cohort which has had a support group and it has started from Year 11. Let's see that translate to the strongest year level result ever! It's ambitious, but it's achievable and the goal might help us get motivated at a time where most of our lives revolve around having our heads in books.

Well I have my trial exam at school this morning. I'm not too worried about it because it's only a practice, but wish me luck nonetheless. :)

Quad post. o:

I think I did alright today. It was a 2012 Insight Exam 2 (does anyone have the solutions for this? :P) paper and it wasn't overly challenging. Of course, I'm terrified I've made stupid mistakes but it was only a trial exam at the end of the day.

Just a reminder that this is a "Year 12 Class of 2013, REPORT HERE!" not a "Stick's results and SAC/exam timetable thread" :) If people aren't replying to a post, it's either:
1) They don't actually care about someone getting "x" in some trial exam (for example)
2) They don't have anything specific to the class of 2013 to discuss

I know earlier you've said you're posting heaps to bump the thread, and that's a great initiative! But personally if I was in the class of 2013, the last I would want to see being the "bump" is something to do with SACs/Exams/prizes and last of all, trial exam results (seriously... -_-). Also, it does look a little boastful (and you're not the first or the last to take their academic pride a little too far on AN). AN's got lots of that already.

So keep the convo general and when others want to, they'll post here :) If you want somewhere to post up all your academic numerical details, I'd recommend making a blog and chucking the link in your sig :)

I'm sorry. :( I really don't hope I've annoyed people too much, because that's really not what I've intended to do in creating this thread. As someone who really struggles to cope with the stresses of school and knowing that others do as well, I created this thread to form a support network for students. I know activity hasn't been too great lately so I've been posting a lot about myself, so I really apologise if I've come across as arrogant. I just don't want this thread dying, because I know that if it does that personally I won't be able to manage to the same degree and I'll end up making things even worse for myself at school. I guess I've been trying a little too hard and it's having a negative effect on everybody. Just to make things clear, however, you can share your results in this thread if you feel comfortable doing so. I certainly wouldn't interpret it as 'boasting' and I always feel much better telling others how I've went regardless of the mark.  I'll make a conscious effort to not talk about myself too much and I'll keep the thread alive through other ways. :)
