After doing 1 & 2 Physics this year I can say with full certainty that nothing in my life has felt like such a waste of time. Ergo, Biology sounds like a good choice.
Well since you've done 1 & 2 you could always do what I did and go into 3/4 Physics despite hating the subject...

Would rather be impaled via cactus.

Ugh, no way. Two Units is more than enough.

Haha lol!!! They introduce genitive case on and off depending on the type of grammar you're learning, right? For example, for "da- compounds", the teacher might say genitive case doesn't apply. However, if you're talking about the case tables for genitive, accusative, dative and nominative, our class learnt them last semester  ;) Good luck to you though ~ find genitive to be the easiest case to recognize out of all 4  :P

Sorry for not replying to this earlier- yeah we're just learning about the cases in the tables and it's not too complicated yet. Except using "jene" kind of confuses me. When do you use it? :)

In other news, ( not that it really matters to anyone else) i got my last lit sac back today and after our last lesson had quite the philosophical discussion with my teacher. I seriously can't believe it's over already. What will I do in yr 12 without lit? :'(

Omg I understand you completely. I have only this week's classes of psych left, and then it's over :'(
I actually don't know what I'll do next year.

My last (official) class for Further is tomorrow... to be honest, I'll probably be glad it's all over but I'll miss having the goofy Year 12s around... :P That being said, my teacher told us that since Year 11s still have timetabled classes (hence we'll keep turning up for Further anyway) that Year 12s are still welcome to come along, although we won't be doing much (fair enough in my opinion - a fair few of us have been working quite diligently throughout the year; we need to learn how to relax lol).

Ugh, I can't wait for next year!!

I've been slacking off in my year 11 classes and I hate physics with a passion so I'm not worried about that!!

Next year imma smash my subjects to the best of my ability and reach my target atar. People ask me what my goal is and they laugh because of my efforts in my year 11 classes but in year 12 I'm gonna go rank one in my classes when it counts and punch the SACs and exams in the face :)

No idea! Hmm... don't think we even discussed "jene" and even if we did, shows you how ready I am for that German unit 2 exam  ;)

Welcome to the cohort, Kesh. I'm glad you're very enthusiastic about the challenges of next year, but I think you need to remind yourself that VCE is not a light switch - you cannot simply "turn on" the work ethic; it needs to be done gradually so that you can sustain your motivation for the whole year. Perhaps start actively working towards your Unit 2 exams this year and then continue that on during headstart. :)

My school generally doesn't do much for muck-up day, but for the first time the Year 12s went nuts. They all came in girls' uniforms and tried spray-tanning my legs, and even worse, they lit a fire during recess! Needless to say, the entire cohort got suspended and were sent home early. What is your opinion on muck-up day? :)

They got suspended for that? -_- Your school admin are pretty lame, no offence, that's nothing.

Muck-up day is good fun, but it has its limits. As long as you don't hurt anyone or damage anything I don't see the problem with water-bombing people, gladwrapping people to poles, dressing up, etc. And come on, what's a muck-up day without the fire brigade being called in for something minor and insignificant :P

I think lighting a fire could reasonably considered beyond the limits

I guess I have to agree with you there (although I'm not sure about some of the pranks you've mentioned!). I'm not a dead-beat and suggesting we do absolutely nothing to commemorate the end of Year 12, but I'm against anything that severely disrespects staff members, other students and property. Regardless of how you feel about your education, the teachers are only doing their job and I think it's terrible how badly they are often victimised by these sorts of pranks (again, I'm not talking about minor tricks - I'm referring to more serious incidents). To be honest, I'm not quite sure where this tradition has come from, but I do think it's disappointing that students think it is alright to go nuts simply because they've finished school. I mean, going to these sorts of destructive lengths is barely acceptable in the real world and it sets a poor foundation on how to go about things in life. Does it mean we can egg our bosses now if we retire from work, simply because our time is over? The sooner we accept we actually can't go nuts whenever we finish something, the better.

Also, I think a fire is something that's pretty serious and could've caused a lot of damage to property, and potentially harmed other students. I had no real issues with the other things they were doing though, but it's a shame they went obnoxious. :P

Yes i agree. Heheheh funny Stick that you say you have "no real issues" with these "minor tricks" when you carried scissors in your pocket, threatened to stab a yr 12 with them and also hit someone  :P

LOL! Muck-up days generally run alright, like sure, there's always incidences which seem to occur but for the most part, most students act appropriately.

Regarding the victimisation of teachers, I don't agree with this, for our muck-up day, many teachers joined in and had fun with us, that's how the spirit should be, so in a sense, they were OK with us having fun and bagging them out for once, I don't think it's a major issue, but I do agree though, if someone doesn't want to be involved in a prank, we shouldn't force them, but if all are happy, I don't see how it's a bad thing.

I finished class yesterday and today the Year 12s, including myself all received an official farewell. It's something that I'm going to remember for the rest of my life. The plus side of the day, was celebrating at the local pub for a few beers with fellow year 12s :)
