I went for a minimalist approach to embody the orderly and well-defined mind we wish to impart to our readers. Also, I wanted to add some sentimental connection and embodied the lexicon/symbolism of the youth. I call it, "Cigars and Coffee" just to make all the hipster kids lose all their shit.

Spine and author area can be smaller, IMO. But I'm a fan.

The spine can be easily adjusted, so that's fine. By author area, do you mean on the front, spine or back? Thanks for your input. :)

loving the 'forever alone' chrysalis

Haha, thanks.

Okay, I think I'm almost done...
I don't know if forever alone guy is copyrighted or anything but if it is, it can be easily removed.

All the other entries look great so far!

Agreed... Not too much a fan on the spine but all in all great work!

Hm... care to elaborate? I do think the blocks of blue on the spine look a little... out of place, but that was the only way I could think of doing it if the logo was to be used. Any input is appreciated!

Photoshop :)

EDIT: Updated the spine. I think it looks better.

Should the single image for voting be of the format |[back cover][spine][front cover]| ?

Format can be anything, so long as it's clear what each one is or they're labelled as such.

Eep. :o I know when I am beat.

EDIT: Also, not mocking anyone else and their designs; it is just me having a joke. Everything submitted this far looks really good. I am quite jelly of some of the skills some of you have in photoshop etc.

I was thinking of losing the spine but the latest one you posted looks pretty good already! I felt the spine looked... yes "out of place"... Nonetheless, I would buy that book!

...Seriously where do we vote?
