Soo tell me, what is your ethnic background??

Sometimes when people mention their ethnic background, it usually surprises me because I didn't think they were from there, or had just imagined them to be from somewhere else :)


So where is everyone from?

I'm from Egypt :)

Mum's Japanese, dad is half Dutch and like quarter Chinese, quarter Scottish or something.

Born in Hong Kong, grew up in Malaysia, Australian citizen, dad's Malaysian and mum's Indonesian but I'm a Chinese descent (so yellow skin all the way) - does this make sense? :P

Makes good sense. I'm technically Chinese, but I lived in Indonesia for quite a while until family moved to Australia. Everyone just calls me 'that Indo kid' now.

Yeah, it's hard to explain. It doesn't work particularly well, because I can only speak Indo, and no Mandarin / Cantonese.
