Script Inspection Advice
« on: January 30, 2012, 08:45:53 pm »
Hey guys, Im in yr 12 this year and did biol and methods last year. i wasnt happy with my scores and i recently found out about the inspection of scripts. Is it worth the time to have the inspection? If I go to VCAA for the inspection, what actually happens there? The deadline is soon, so some advice would really help!

Thanks!

It is possible to gain extra marks, if you're going to go in and inspect your script I advise you bring a tutor who can justify some of your responses for biology and perhaps get a few marks. I wouldn't try for methods, it is very rare for marks in methods to be changed, you need to remember that it's marked by two assessors and the marking scheme is very black and white.

Hope that helps :)

Have you ordered your Statement of Marks yet? That will give you an indication regarding which questions you lost marks on. It's always a good idea to get this first as with it, you can look back at the exam paper and see where you went wrong and if you expected yourself to go wrong in those areas :)
