Waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh ;'(

If it wasn't for the fact that I have the best tutors ever, I think I would drop out today and get a job at maccas.,

How to deal with crappy teachers who can't teach - do you pay attention in their classes and take in their crap or do homework in their classes ... Or what? How much will this affect my study scores?
I tend to need a loooooot of guidance in this subject.... So Im jst a bit screwed. :(
Happy enough after one hell of a year.

Year 12 is more about you and how hard you work, cause in the end, teachers play a minor role in what happens. I never really paid that much attention to my teachers, I just sort of had my own routine and plans and I would just implement them independently. Sometimes you get teachers that are good and involve the class in sort of like interactive activities, that's good and I enjoy that so I participate. But apart from that, I think just have your own plan of what you want to do, study by yourself and you should be fine :)

yeah i'm afraid you have to deal with the teacher, but if you've had previous teachers for this subject that were more than helpful, i'd consider making some appointments with them during school so they can clarify any questions you may have, i'm sure they would be happy to help. And you have your tutor too, so don't stress too much.

The extra gay teachers are the ones who tell you off when you do other homework in class -..-
In my experience, it is best to pay attention to them. I use to think my methods teacher was crap but them i ended up picking up a few things when i actually listened :D
how many periods a day do you have? I have four 75 minute periods a day, so i have to suffer that long for each subject i have a crap teacher in  :o

Speaking of crappy teachers, my chem teacher is retarded...
During orientation / transition, he spent an entire period gratifying his lab coat and then he showed us his wedding video - because thats what teachers usually do during their introductory lesson ...
He refuses to tell us his name ( although we all know it) and goes by 'K'. He claims to be Chinese one day and Greek the next... He strings together the most random letters and tells us hes swearing in Mandarin...
Hes a short, bald bogan who kind of looks like Sanjay Dutt in Agneepath- that same creepy smile...
And his mood swings... Oh my, he is worse than a menopausal woman who is neglected by her husband and forgot to take her pills that morning ... During transition week he walked down the corridor with his graffitied lab coat and glasses like he was some chemistry gangster and stopped infront of a girl who was holding a box of chocolates- he grabbed it off her and licked, yes licked the entire box before asking if she wants it back..
So I feel your pain!! If I can survive 'K' you can survive anything .... As mentioned before VCE is all about the individual, and you said you have great tutors, so you'll be fine.... Ha, and to think this guy will be marking my SACs....

Call me unimaginative, but I'm struggling to picture a Chinese-Greek-Indian bogan :)

Hes not Chinese or Greek- he just claims to be but its quite clear he isnt ... or Indian - I just made that comparison because of the smile and the baldness and ... Idk, you just have to see the guy to understand ... At least my other teachers are pretty great

Well I dnt want to specify too much.. Considering I was stupid enough to use my real name for AN.. But yeah my own study plan sounds like a good idea :)

What pisses me off is YOU'D THINK THEY SAVE THE BEST TEACHERS FOR YEAR 12! Jeeeez.

My teachers have this thing where they go tell your teacher if u ask for help in a subject that they teach the other class in. But I've decided i dnt care, I will go to the pros mwahaha

YES! but my religion teacher was awesome - we came to a compromise last year of 10 min of his subject 90 minutes of my own study xD
EEEW 75 min periods - I have an attention span of like 30 min :D ours are 50 min x 6

Oh gosh Mariammm the thought of crappy teachers marking my sacs... O.o

You honestly made me laugh. That was so funny, especially about Sanjay Dutt.:)

Ok. I, on the other hand was priveliged enough to have excellent teachers for year 12. Despite this, I have a tutor for eveny single subject to ENFORCE THE IDEAS that are being explained and to also provide me with extra materials (for sacs) that I would have no chance of getting as teachers hold on to them as it were candy....

Anyways. What I would do in your situation, Tisara (which btw is a really nice name...its....pretty:)) is I would study by myself in class, reading through notes, making notes, and finishing homework. I would still listen to the teacher, but with a relative amount of criticism in mind, as they are not the best teacher in the world. I wouldnt ignore them, ecause despite how weird they are, they are qualified, and they could always tell you some small miniscule amount of information that helps to connect the dots.

Everyone's is oviously very smart on my Spesh class (in my case...I beg to differ) but my teacher SPECIFICALLY TELLS US TO NOT LISTEN TO OUR TUTORS, so she goes through the course in a different order so it would make more sense, rather than going chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3....etc etc.

My point is, listen to your teacher, have an open mind, but always keep in mind, that they are not the best teachers.

Hope this helps:)
