Volunteering Opportunities with Robogals Melbourne

Hello Everyone!

Just a heads up, we are recruiting volunteers for O-Week and thought we might plug ourselves here as well.
Basically, we are an organisation that promotes engineering and sciences to the young 'uns by holding Lego MINDSTORMS workshops.
We primarily teach girls because of the girl-boy ratio in science and Engineering courses (Hence - "Robogals").

As an incentive, this would look awesome in any resume seeing as our founder Marita Cheng has been awarded "Young Australian of the Year". We'll be walking around with blue t-shirts and signs and such.

PS. You do NOT have to be female to volunteer with us.

Hope to see you all at O-Week :)
Want to us to come to your school? Contact Shane at [email protected] or for rural areas contact Nicole at [email protected]

Some people have asked whether or not they need to be an engineer and the answer is no.
Of course come along and join. School workshop details are available through myRobogals.
Just sign up.
