hey guys, i was just wondering what textbook people would recommend for 3/4 Health.

My school is using 'Journey through health and human development' and its pretty out dated and not very detailed/explanatory.

I have heard good things aboutttt
* jacaranda's 'Key concepts in health and human development (2nd edition)'
* Cambridge's 'Global perspectives on Health and Human Development'

would you recommend one of these? or are there better ones out there? :)

I also used the "Journey through Health and Human development textbook"for school and agree that it does lack depth of information in some areas. I think Cambridge is excellent for HHD (very detailed and author [Sonia Goodacre] is a chief assessor of HHD) :D
2011: English | Methods | Psychology | Health & Human Development | Legal Studies | Texts & Traditions
2012: B.A. (Psychology) @ UniMelb
2015-16: Master of Teaching (Secondary: Psychology/Health) @ UniMelb
2017- Teaching Psych & HHD :D

Happy to help out with; Health & HD(48), Psych(48), Qs about UniMelb Psych or MTeach courses :D

*Doing Health & Human Development in 2021?* :D

i use the jacaranda one. It is really good, however, has left out some stuff for health promotion [advocate, enable, mediate]. Nothing major though.

Agreed, and the health promotion info you can find in the assessors report from last years exam :)

yeah i know that's what my school has done and they found stuff online from WHO and all that. It's a very good textbook. Explains stuff pretty well. And the eBookplus awesome because you don't need to carry your book home and there are extra resources and links on it :)
