B.Eng at Monash - accredited with Washingtons accord, amongst others.
M.Eng pathway at Melbourne - accredited with Washingtons accord and EUR-ACE (Europe), amongst others.
would that mean better chance of employability than monash graduate?

Well, do you intend to work overseas? If not, it doesn't matter much as both are accredited fully in Australia.

Regarding "employability", that is hard to answer as I don't think any Melbourne M.Eng have graduated yet.
i see, so much uncertainty, arrrrr!!!!! Does anyone happen to know any engineers who can give an opinion on this. I just don't want to graduate from masters of engineering finding myself jobless for quite some time because only few firms accept over qualified engineers or melb model graduates.

Graduating from Melbourne will not make you over-qualified. *Competent* people should not worry about being jobless.

It would make you an overqualified graduate because you have a masters in engineering with no work experience.

"Master" is just a name. At Oxford there is a "Bachelor of Common Laws" that is a graduate degree and considered masters level. If you don't have any work experience that is your own problem. There will be times in the course or over summer where you can have an internship.

Ohh,i see. What i mean by no work experience is like experience working in engineering firms. Engineering firms don't hire BSc graduates with a major in electrical system or something. Generally a well qualified engineer is someone who has worked in the field for about 5 years and has gotten masters. I just want to know if firms, will accept you with a masters because you haven't done bachelor of engineering.

Yes, because it is essentially the same thing, just a new name. There is very little difference between a Melbourne BEng and an MEng.

You can go through either Monash's BEng, you'll have to take an Honours year or UoM's MEng, both are fine

Pretty much, but you'll have to have good marks, I personally think that's more important than the uni. I have friends who went to Deakin and they're employed now.

Will do!  :D It's not that difficult to get into MEng graduate school either minimum 65% GPA in science. I'am pretty hardworking shouldn't be to much of a problem.
