Did anyone go to that School of Languages, Cultures & Linguistics session (3:15-4:15) which was a part of the Faculty of Arts orientation today?
If so, what did they go through? Anything important? Or was it like all the other School Sessions?

Yes, I went!

Pretty dull and nothing interesting/new. If you read your course outline and unit guide, you should be fine. If you have any questions, they said to go to the Arts students services in the Menzies building/email them, or email your unit coordinator/lecturer.

Other than that there wasn't nothing much... it ran for 15 mins, not the hour as advertised :P

Yeah, they didn't really give any new information at all. It was over in like 15 minutes and I was sitting there like "...That's it?"

You didn't miss anything.

LOL i didnt go for any of those lectures. I went to the welcoming one, where my friend and I wondered if that video was intentionally lame, or if it was just lame and when lunch was, but that was boring too.

Awesome. The fact it was advertised to be one hour put me way off. If it was over in 15 minutes I would've gone.  Oh well. Thanks guys :)

Hahaha! When I watched that video in the Science faculty welcome no one laughed at all, but when we watched it in arts, everyone laughed lol
