Biology SAC Unit 1?

I'm currently studying Unit 1 Biology and I'm new to this SAC thing and have my first sac coming in about a week and I want to do well. Can someone explain to me how Bioogy SACS work and how they're marked (my teacher hasn't really explained to us)? My first SAC will be on internal and external environments of cells and cell structure and function. From this, what kind of things will I need to know?

You basically do a prac; so for your one, you would be using compound microscopes and looking at various cell types [e.g. animal epithelial cells, banana cells] and drawing them so make sure you know how to use a microscope (including how to work out total magnification) and also the rules for biological drawings (e.g. you're not allowed to draw arrowheads, etc)

After the prac you basically do a write-up, which could include lab questions such as your hypothesis, aim, etc. And also discussion questions such as explain what such and such organelle does.

I think for this SAC and I guess for all your otehr SACs in general, time management is crucial so make sure you keep your eyes on the clock!
