Hey guys,

Any of you happen to also be doing the Tempest for their adaptations and transformations essay? (comparing the play to the movie) I am honestly freaking out about this sac as its worth 40 marks and...........*hyperventilate*
Do you have any opinions whatsoever (And evidence) on the transformation of the character Prospero to Prospera?? Like I have a general view but I don't really know what and how I am going to write this essay, How do I structure it and that ??

So the practise topic my teacher gave us which she said is close to the actual topic on the sac ;
"changing the gender has not softened the character. The fact that she is a woman allows her to infuse the role with a certain kind of feminine strength. However, Taymore's Prospera also tends to stress the character's emotions, such as anger, tenderness, fear and uncertainty, consistent with the tenuous nature of the power he/she holds. This also reflects the accusations against her and the injustice she feels about the situation. this interpretation changes the meaning to some extent as PRospera is a more vulnerable and human character. "

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. I am a nervous wreck at the moment and seriously on the brink of a nervous breakdown.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
