Is there any preference given to Science and Biomedicine kids at melbourne uni, for entry into MD at melbourne, over the people who are studying biomedical science at monash, opting to study medicine at Melbourne?

Not that I know of, I'm pretty sure Monash Biomed kids are the second most to get MD (after UoM Biomed kids)?

Not strictly true (ie the biomed only thing). In terms of blocs it's UoM biomed (~35%) then Monash undergrads (science + biomed + others) based on my experience so far. I haven't met that many biomedsci monash grads as opposed to monash science grads.

There is also a very, very large chunk of people who aren't coming straight out of an undergrad degree
