Okay  You Notes and summaries should be done now. In my opinion you should be doing on prac exam a week PLUS rereading all your notes a day.

I would refer back to your glossary  as in memorise the key terms because this exam is a tad predictable.

THEN  a month to go start focusing fully on practise exams.   I think if you put your main focus on practise exams without  giving your notes and glassary the same amount of focus you will only land around a B

ive made notes and flash cards etc. i dont really read them much as i keep trying to make new notes (i love writing! :) )
the only time i refer back to my notes is when i do badly on some part of a praccy exam and i need to revise it.
i try to keep all the info in my mind.

Wow, good on ya, you're starting early :) I got a 50 last year and I got through about 30 past exams for each unit, but I only started doing prac exams for unit 3 about 3 weeks before the exam, so end of May. Having said that, I would do exam style questions throughout the year (checkpoints, studyon etc) so when I did start doing exams it wasn't completely alien. Also, I wouldn't say that any number of prac exams will guarantee you a good score- it's how you use them. Make sure you learn from your mistakes, maybe write down questions you find hard or got wrong and see if you can still tackle them closer to the exam date.
And of course have a thorough understanding of all the concepts- know them well enough that you can explain them to someone else in your own words.
If you do all that you should be set, good luck :)

Notes are good, but when that's your only study mechanism it's not good. If anything make notes on the practice exams if you have to make notes on something at this stage.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.

Has anyone done the VCAA 2006 exam? I did it today and got 24/25 for MC but the short answer tore me apart, and I ended up with 58/75 (the A+ for that year was 54 so not too bad). I'll have to see what the next few VCAA ones are like later but I found their multiple choice really fair and if you knew the content, it was simple.

It's not about the amount of exams you do. It's about making a logbook with all the questions you got wrong, and learning off that.

Expression is going to be the key in this years exam. Mark yourself harshly if you miss out a single key word. Revise areas you seem to be struggling at (and keep getting wrong). Otherwise you're not going to improve and you're not going to get as good as a score you hope to get
