Hi everyone,
Can anyone help in regards drawing stimulus response model for vasodilation and vasoconstriction. Everytime I try I get confused on the receptors, control center, effectors and responce. If anyone can help it would be really helpful

Stimulus  ..... too cold
receptor ...... thermoreceptors in skin  send signal to brain via the afferent neurons (sensory)
control centre - hypothalamus in brain decides on action and sends a signal via efferent neurons (motor)
effector - muscles that ring the arteries near the skin.  They tighten

Response - less blood flow to skin = less chance of losing heat to the environment.
