Hi everyone,
Can anyone help in regards drawing stimulus response model for vasodilation and vasoconstriction. Everytime I try I get confused on the receptors, control center, effectors and responce. If anyone can help it would be really helpful :D

Stimulus  ..... too cold
receptor ...... thermoreceptors in skin  send signal to brain via the afferent neurons (sensory)
control centre - hypothalamus in brain decides on action and sends a signal via efferent neurons (motor)
effector - muscles that ring the arteries near the skin.  They tighten

Response - less blood flow to skin = less chance of losing heat to the environment.
